The board must be sound,
dry and free from contamination such as sea water, dust, oil, grease,
paints etc. and should be roughened to provide mechanical key, using a
suitable abrasive paper for the substrate. |

Prepare
your
Aqua-Patch
out of any direct daylight..!
Aqua-Patch does not
require any mixing but it may need to be cut to size and shape, which
can be done using a pair of scissors. Cut away the seal along three
edges of the pack to gain access to the Patch, which with its release
films still attached to each side, can then be removed ready for cutting
and immediate application.
NOTE:
Aqua-Patch
will start to cure
(go hard) with any exposure to UV. UV is present in ordinary cloudy
daylight conditions so open, cut and prepare your
Aqua-Patch
out of direct daylight, sunny
or otherwise.
Replace any unused
Aqua-Patch
in the UV protective
pouch for future use. |
 |
| Remove the
matt release
film from the Patch, and press the Patch firmly into position, ensuring
that full contact with the prepared substrate is achieved. Tools such as
small wooden decorating rollers or craft moulding tools will assist with
this, but their use is not essential. Once the Patch is firmly in place
the second, Gloss, release film can be removed and discarded. In
overlap/wrap-around applications it will be necessary to remove the
second release film before the overlap is made. |

|
Aqua-Patch© must be cured by
exposure to UV light, which can be
provided by either natural daylight or UV lamps. Once cured,
Aqua-Patch© can be
left in place for days, weeks or even months, until you want to remove it
and undertake a permanent professional or DIY repair.
NOTE: Aqua-Patch will start to cure
(go hard) with any exposure to UV. UV is present in ordinary cloudy
daylight conditions so open, cut and prepare your Aqua-Patch out of
direct daylight, sunny or otherwise. Replace any unused Aqua-Patch in the UV
protective pouch for future use. |

|
Aqua-Patch can be
easily removed by levering it off with a sharp chisel or similar implement.
Once removed, you will find the
Aqua-Patch has had
no effect whatsoever on the original material. You can then undertake a more
permanent professional or DIY repair.
